Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2011

Moving On is our brand new production and will be premiered at Zoo Venues during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Moving On is a cross-disciplinary production that combines classical Indian dance, music, and film. Dance Ihayami has teamed up with Edinburgh-based filmmaker, Krish Shrikumar to create a contemporary and unforgettable piece of work. The production comments on the strict, traditional Indian structure in the arts in the context of changing norms and values in the new world and the ways Indian art forms develop, transform and flourish. It is a unique opportunity to experience a journey of transformation conveyed by dancers and through their exquisite movements and postures.

Come and immerse yourself in the beauty of Indian dance!
